Hinduism is home to many gods. Lord Shiva is one of these gods. Parvati is the second. Each one has their own qualities. This article will talk about the different Hindu gods and their beliefs. The Oxford Dictionary of English defines a deity.

The beauty of this woman was not only black, but her complexion was also very striking.


Parvati is believed to have been created by Shiva when he left society and became an ascetic. Shiva couldn't be distracted while the world was being terrorized and possessed by a woman demon. In order to tempt Shiva, Shakti, the goddess of love, assumed the disguise of Parvati (a beautiful goddess). Shiva was finally won over and the two were soon married. According to the myths, Shiva and Parvati had a son that would defeat this demon.

Shiva is a Hindu deity who is believed to be the husband and wife of Parvati, the goddess Shakti and the goddess Shiva. These two Hindu gods are considered to be the creators, and they also have their sons. Shiva has had many lives and is now a god. When fused with the other gods Vishnu and Parvati, Shiva became Harihara, which means elephant head.

Shiva is Hinduism’s most important deity. He is the ultimate God. He is worshipped as a supreme God and continues to be featured in popular Hindu mythology films. Hindus worship Shiva many different ways depending on their beliefs.

The male reproductive part of the god is represented by the yoni. Shiva's dual nature allows him to be revered as well as feared. He also has many different names and depictions.

Lord Shiva is associated the sacred Ganges river, which runs through India. This river is sacred and Lord Shiva often carries it in his hair. His teachings reflect foresight and peace.
